The beginning
Meet Hazel
When we adopted Hazel — our golden retriever — at one year old, we thought we were bringing home a healthy, happy dog. What we didn't expect was the relentless scratching, the inflamed skin, and the gut issues that began within weeks of her arriving home.
Vet visit after vet visit. Prescription after prescription. The bills mounted, the diagnoses multiplied, and Hazel kept scratching.
The realisation

It was only when we started connecting with other dog owners in Singapore that the picture became clear. Skin allergies in dogs are extraordinarily common here — the year-round humidity, the urban environment, and the heat create a perfect storm for dogs with sensitive immune systems.
